Jan. 30, Sat. -- The Jess Dodd Endurance Classic -- You're going to hear a lot more about this bowling event. Among the Club’s oldest traditions.
Feb. 7, Sun. -- Super Bowl party. Don't even think about not coming to this
March 18, 19, 20, 21 -- 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA Hoops Tournament
March 20, Sat. -- Beefsteak Dinner -- More to come on this....has the potential to be an annual classic…could rival Oktoberfest and Giants Super Bowl Party.
March 25, 26, 27, 28 -- NCAA Regionals
April 3, Sat. -- The Final Four -- One of the great sports events of the year
April 5, Mon. -- NCAA Championship Final

A legacy of community involvement...
The Commonwealth Club has long supported community programs as well as individuals and groups in need. In recent years, the Club and its members have:
Come to the aid of families stricken by cancer and devastated by a home-fire.
Annually awarded two scholarships to high school seniors for "exemplary all-around achievement in the areas of academics, in-school and community service, extra-curricular activity and citizenship."
While the Club first fielded its own competitive baseball team in 1906, today it is a sponsor of junior baseball in Montclair.
In 2008, the Club's Board of Trustees provided a grant supporting the work of volunteers from the Outpost in the Burbs at a soup kitchen located in Christ Episcopal Church in East Orange.

The Board of Trustees of the Commonwealth Club meets at 8 p.m. on the third Monday of every month. All members are welcome to attend and encouraged to participate in the work, play and fellowship that have marked our organization since it was founded in 1904.
